The diesel price is now at SEK 24:51 per liter, which is the highest level since January 25, when the price was SEK 24:66 per liter.
The cost of 95-octane petrol amounts to SEK 21:04 per liter on Thursday. The price has not been this high since November 9, 2022 (21:24 kroner per litre).
The gains follow oil prices, which have risen sharply recently after both Saudi Arabia and Russia, the world’s two largest oil producers, announced extended production curbs – of 300,000 barrels per day – until the end of September.
During the day, a barrel of Brent oil rose to $87.45, a price last reached at the end of January.
