(Finance) – Falling prices for gas in Italy. The value ofIGI index (Italian Gas Index) for 18 September was equal to 37.75 euros/MWh, up compared to 17 September when it was equal to 37.66 euros/MWh.
The IGI index is calculated by the Energy Markets Manager – GME for each gas day, based on the prices of transactions concluded on the natural gas market (MGAS).
On the contrary, the Dutch TTF gas futures for October delivery, listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, is trending downwards and marks a value of 35.18 euros/Mwh, down 3.6% compared to the day before.
