The Garmin Forerunner 265 series launched today. Two models in the mid-range smartwatch lineup, Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 265S bears the name and both AMOLED It comes with screens. They will be available in two sizes and multiple color combinations.
Forerunner 265, 46mm case and 416 x 416 pixels have resolution 1.3 inch AMOLED It comes with the screen. The Forerunner 265S measures 42mm with a 1.1-inch, 360 x 360 pixel AMOLED display. Both smartwatches have built-in touchscreens and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Both models have up to 8GB of storage and have similar sensor support. Multiplex for precise positioning on the Forerunner 265 series GNSS connection is supported, there is also heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring feature.
Preloaded software on the Forerunner 265 series provides access to various training modes and smart notifications and Connect IQ Store and Garmin Pay is supported. The new Forerunner 265 models support music playback by default.
Garmin Forerunner 265S in smartwatch mode Up to 15 days of battery life while the Forerunner 265 Up to 13 days of battery life offers. Battery life is drastically reduced when using GPS or in heavy mode. The price of both models is from $499 starting.
