When “Trädgårdstider” saw the light of day for the first time, the year was 2009 and the host quartet consisted of Marie and Gustav Mandelmann, Tareq Taylor and Pernilla Månsson Colt.
A lot has happened since then. The programme, which was initially broadcast on SV2, is now shown on SVT1 and Månsson Colt has new colleagues.
In 2010 stepped John Taylor into the program and five years later joined Malin Persson to the group. Last year Tareq announced that he had done his last season and it was revealed shortly after that his replacement would be the Danish chef Adam Aamann.
– Garden time has been incredibly important to me and is one of the most fun things I’ve ever had to do. It is a special program and a special group that I will really miss, Tareq said in a press release before his departure.

Adam Aamann: “Should give the viewers aha experiences”
In an interview with Home’s Journal Adam Aamann has told about how he thinks about cooking in “Trädgårdstider”.
– I want my cooking to give viewers aha experiences. They should get inspiration to cook in a new way. At the same time, it must not be too complicated, but everyone must be able to cook according to my recipes. The important thing is that it should look extremely appetizing. It should start rumbling in the stomachs of the viewers, he tells the newspaper.
Malin Persson on Adam Aamann: “A cheerleader for farming”
But how has it been for the other presenters to welcome a new chef into the group? News24 asked Malin Persson.
– It has been great fun to get Adam into the program. He spreads a lot of positivity, is a cheerleader for farming and then he cooks super good food, she says and continues:
– The fact that you then learn a word or two in Danish is a plus point!

Do you who take part in the program hang out outside of the recordings as well?
– We see and hear from time to time.
