The owner of the road thought the garbage truck had trespassed
Those who owned the road considered that the garbage truck had trespassed. They therefore demanded an infringement compensation of SEK 5,000.
And because they believed that the garbage truck drove on the road on seven occasions, the company received an invoice for SEK 35,000, plus interest.

Dispute the invoice
The company, SÅM, chose to dispute the invoice. The case was also about to be decided in the district court. But since the legal process could be expensive, the owner of the road and the garbage truck company chose to reach a settlement instead.
The garbage truck company must now pay SEK 20,000 to the owner of the private road, writes Jönköpings-Posten.
