According to the newspaper, there have been 514 reports of suspected leaks since 2018. This has both led to convictions, but there are also cases that could never be proven.
Several employees within the police are singled out – at least 30. For various reasons, these have been forced to stop or they are singled out as security risks.

The newspaper writes that several leaks have coincided with at least four revenge attacks where people have been murdered or injured.

Recruited through sexual relations
The review shows that the criminals recruit police employees through several different methods, including by starting sexual relations with strategically selected ones.
Dagens Nyheter has spoken to both criminals and police officers. A criminal tells about a relationship he started with a woman.
– I said that we would build for the future. But what I wanted was to see the police’s information about me, my relatives and friends. And potential enemies, he tells the newspaper.
