A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of particularly serious drug smuggling and particularly serious drug offences. He has previously been the leader of the criminal network M-falangen in Malmö, writes Sydsvenskan.
The man, who left Sweden in 2015, was internationally wanted in November. The police suspect that he controlled drug smuggling from Montenegro and Spain to Sweden.
On the same day that the 41-year-old was wanted, he was arrested outside the Spanish city of Barcelona.
On Friday, the man was taken to Sweden and on Saturday he was detained. He denies wrongdoing.
