Game of Thrones: Maisie Williams looks back on Arya Stark’s sex scene

She has brought Ayra to life in all eight seasons of Game of Thrones. Williams has plenty of Westeros experience to show for it. When she was asked what surprised her the most about her character, she came up with the Sex scene with Genry Baratheon to talk about what happened during the last round.

Williams already showed up for the broadcast of the Game of Thrones finals surprised by the character development, which Arya goes through in the final meters of the fantasy series. She told Entertainment Weekly at the time:

At first I thought it was a joke. I said, ‘Yeah, that was a good joke.’ But then said [die Showrunner]: ‘No, we haven’t made jokes like that for years.’

In the early seasons, David Benioff and DB Weiss have one or the other Joke smuggled into the scripts. However, there was no more time for such jokes in the final. Last but not least, they had to complete the biggest series of the past decade.
