Thousand-year-old city of Tarn, Gaillac is an ancient prosperous city which owes its growth to the wine and pastel trade. Its prestigious heritage is revealed in particular through the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Michel de Gaillac or the Château de Foucaud which today houses the Museum of Fine Arts of Gaillac.
