In Gabon, the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) created by the military following the coup d’état of August 30 announced this Monday in a press release the indicative timetable for the political transition in Gabon which will end in August 2025 following the elections. Under pressure from donors and certain partners of Gabon, the president of the transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma, through this timeline, decides to limit the duration of the transition to two years.
