Men also have a G-spot… or rather a P-spot for “Prostate”. Where to find it? Why is it erogenous? How to achieve prostatic pleasure without risk?
What is the male G-spot?
THE G point from “Grafenberg”, the name of the German gynecologist who described this erogenous zone in women, also exists in men. But we call it point P for “Prostate” since it is the stimulation of the prostate gland – located under the bladder and crossed by the urethra– Who promotes sexual arousal and even a Orgasm very powerful at home. The prostate plays a preponderant role in male sexuality since it is what makes sperm and participates in ejaculation (after filling the ejaculatory ducts, it contracts and prostatic secretions mix with seminal fluid, sperm then accesses the penile urethra through the impulse of the prostate).
It is located inside the rectum, near the urethra and prostate. THE prostate massage can be done in two ways:
► through the perineumpressing hard enough in the area between the anus and the testicles,
► or in inserting a finger directly into the rectum (through the anus). This particularly sensitive area is tamed with great delicacy and softness. There dog position, knees drawn towards you, or position on the back, the buttocks raised on a cushion, the knees bent or brought towards you, generally facilitate access to this erogenous zone. “As a couple or alone, no need to commit to the performance side or try to reach orgasm in 5 minutes. Relax, do not remain in apnea, circulate the pleasure throughout the body and take full advantage of your sensations!“, advises Dr. Claire Lewandowski, a doctor specializing in general medicine.
Why is the prostate erogenous?
There area surrounding the prostate is highly innervated, “reason why a prostate massage or sodomy can provide a very powerful pleasure” explains Dr. Patrick Papazian in his book “Prostate, the mysterious organ that wants you well” (Ed.L’Opportun). “Unlike penile orgasm, facing outwardthe prostatic orgasm is deep, internal, proceeding by microcontractions up to the point of no return”, he details. Before recalling that “in male pleasure, all the muscles of the pelvic floor play a big role, more particularly the levator ani muscles (…) thus causing the remote organs, including the prostate, to vibrate with pleasure. It is the entire perineum that is solicited during sexual intercourse.” To note that prostatic pleasure often occurs without ejaculation.
Precautions to follow during prostate massage
The stimulation of the male G (or P) point requires some precautions:
- This sensitive area should be gently massaged in order toavoid any risk of infection or tearing.
- If you use a anal sex toy, remember to equip yourself with a lubricant water-based which will allow easier insertion. The sphincter muscles will relax under the effect of lubrication.
- think about you too cut nails and clean them well.
- Avoid vibrating naughty toys in this area or take it easy, not too much back and forth.
