Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

– It is a nightmare. It’s very tragic. There are no words. It’s our colleagues. I have worked with them for 15 years, says Natalie Magnusson, head of the animal department at Furuviksparken outside Gävle. It has been over two weeks since the dramatic day in Furuviksparken when four chimpanzees were shot dead when they tried to escape. The incident has touched many, and the staff have had to receive a lot of threats and hatred, which led to some needing personal protection. Among other things, a security company has been involved to increase the physical protection for the employees. – In the beginning, we had people with us who, among other things, followed me and made me feel safe when I was out or at home. They were also available to other staff and I feel very grateful for that, says Sandra Wilke, CEO of Furuviksparken.
