(Finance) – TheMediobanca Studies Area presented a sector analysis of the economic survey on IV Capitalist companies operating in the Italian furniture system. This is information extrapolated from the sample survey administered to 5,200 medium and medium-large enterprises manufacturing mainly family-controlled Italians between mid-March and late April. The panel of companies covered by this study is made up of 330 companies active in the processing sectors of woodof the furniture And lighting and gods coatings whose sales account for 41.4% of the entire Italian furniture system.
The enterprises of the IV Capitalism of theItalian furniture estimate an increase of revenue aggregate of 25% in 2021 (exports + 22%). The woodworking sector grew by 37% (exports + 21%), coatings by 25% (+ 21% abroad) and furniture and lighting manufacturers closed 2021 with sales growth of 23. %, both nationally and across borders.
In 2022 a further growth in sales of 8.5% nominal and export growth of 8.1% nominal is estimated, also strengthened by the fact that about 65% of the companies of the IV Capitalism expect a direct or indirect benefit from the PNRR-National Recovery and Resilience Plan. On some sectors the unknowns weigh more. In fact, the prospects for woodworking players are less dynamic as they are more subject to increases in energy prices and a shortage of raw materials.
The expected nominal increase in sales is equal to + 6.7% (+ 4.2% across the border). Coatings manufacturers, on the other hand, expect sales to rise by nominal 11.7% (exports + 11.1%). The furniture and lighting sector expects a nominal increase of 8.3% both in Italy and abroad.
