Wrong pills

The incident between Aart K. and photographer Caspar Huurdeman took place on November 4, 2021 against the background of two mysterious deaths in Bunschoten. Stories quickly circulated in the village at that time. The men aged 36 and 27 would have used several types of drugs together and then taken a relaxant to sleep. Shortly afterwards they died.

Investigations by the Netherlands Forensic Institute pointed to an overdose of methadone as a possible cause of death. They would have taken the methadone on the assumption that it was the sedative drug temazepam. A lawsuit against Bunschoter Sergio K is still pending about the ‘wrong pills’. The drug dealer had all kinds of substances lying around at home, often not packaged or provided with the correct labels. An acquaintance collected the pills when K. was not at home and stated that he took them together with Berendse and Bos. He himself survived the weekend. He later called it a miracle.
