The alarm about the fire came at 05:30 on Sunday morning.
When the emergency services arrived at the scene, the building was already engulfed in flames. Four units are currently on site and working with extinguishing.
– It is a fully developed fire, so our focus is to protect adjacent premises, says Anders Hägglund.
No personal injuries
There is no information that anyone has been injured in connection with the fire.
The rescue service expects the operation to last throughout the morning.
Anders Hägglund says that the emergency services received several calls from the area due to the development of smoke.
– People think it’s a forest fire. But there should be no danger to the public because the weather is fine and the smoke goes straight up.
