Ever since the 1960s, people with an interest in paranormal activity have booked into the 18th-century farm Frammegården. Both 2025 and 2026 are largely fully booked.
– It’s really unimaginable that people are so interested, says Trude Magnusson in Skillingmark’s hometown association.
Jocke and Jonna contributed to the interest
It is after the influencer couple Jocke and Jonna Lundell were here with ghost hunters in 2017 that the interest exploded.
The site is believed to have been an execution site for witches before the estate was built. The stories about the house are many. The last permanent resident of the house was Miss Kerstin Eriksson, who in 1941 donated the farm to the home village association.
Mattress on the floor
The season for overnight stays runs between May and October. Most guests are Swedes and Norwegians, but Danes and French also find their way here. And it is the brought mattress on the floor that applies.
– There are a lot of people who don’t dare to stay and leave in the middle of the night, says Trude Magnusson.
