Full Utrecht council not amused about data breach Safe Together

Aldermen in Stichtse Vecht, Montfoort, De Bilt and Vijfheerenlanden, among others, received a fire letter this week, which was sent by nine parties from those places. The councilors find the situation at Samen Veilig ‘extremely worrisome’. They call for action because the company deals with vulnerable families and vulnerable children. Riëtte Habes (Samen Stichtse Vecht) is the initiator of the fire letter. She says: “It cannot be concluded from the response of the board (of Samen Veilig, ed.) that the organization is aware of the seriousness of the situation.” These nine parties also believe that Samen Veilig has proven that their ‘learning capacity’ is insufficient. There have been major data leaks before, but the situation is not improving. The councilors urgently appeal to the aldermen not to trivialize the situation at the youth care company.
