Fulham lost – despite another goal from Solomon

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Israel Solomon, on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk, made just his eighth Premier League appearance. But in the short time he has been at Fulham, it is impossible to say anything other than that he has been successful – and has quickly become a favorite of the club’s fans.

For the fourth game in a row, he struck out.

Fulham’s Manor Solomon.

This time he was in the right place, heading in the rebound of Andreas Pereira’s free-kick that hit the crossbar and equalizing Ethan Pinnock’s early lead for Brentford.

An unlucky one for Fulham. Pinnock’s shot was headed in by American national team defender Tim Ream.

More went against Fulham.

Against Brentford, it is costly to get penalties against them. Ivan Toney almost never misses. Now he scored his 22nd straight penalty, to 2–1.

With five minutes remaining, Fulham’s goalkeeper Bernd Leno was unable to get his legs together on the Danish Mathias Jensen’s finish.

Carlos Vinicius reduced in the ninth additional minute.

Fulham is seventh in the table, on 39 points. Brentford are ninth on 38, but have two fewer games played.
