APRIL FIRST CHANGES. The personal finances of the French have been damaged for a few weeks and the beginning of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The climate of social and economic tension only reinforces all the changes that will take place from this Friday, April 1st. The resilience plan put in place by the Government has given rise to the creation of a discount of 18 cents per liter of fuel purchased, in an attempt to combat the soaring fuel prices in recent weeks. The energy check arrives, the RSA should increase, in the same way as the activity bonus or the AAH. Discover without further delay all the changes to which you may be subject as of this Friday:
This aid in the form of a “fuel discount” was detailed on March 16 by Prime Minister Jean Castex during a press conference to announce the economic resilience plan. The amount will not be 15 cents per liter of gasoline but 18 cents per liter of gasoline. “The initial announcement was made excluding tax, said the Ministry of Finance interviewed by Le Parisien. On the other hand, liquefied natural gas and LPG will be affected. This boost, valid each time you go to the gas station, will therefore come into effect this friday april 1st and for a period of 4 months, i.e. until July 31 inclusive.

And precisely, this aid intended for families with more than two children and under the age of 20 will be increased by €132.08 in 2021 at €134.46 starting the April 1, 2022.
Emmanuel Macron wishes to condition the payment of the RSA to a minimum of activity. This compensation desired by the LREM candidate aims to lead to integration and employment. It should be 15 to 20 hours per week. “Today, some people who have been on the RSA for a long time can no longer get out of this situation. The activity bonus is an allowance paid monthly by CAF. It is aimed at both workers and the self-employed, civil servants and apprentices. Its granting is conditional the applicant’s resources, which must not exceed a ceiling (read below). The amount of the activity bonus is €553.71 for a single person without housing assistance. On average, a recipient receives 160 euros per month. “The activity bonus is paid monthly“, says one on the site of the CAF.Beneficiaries of the activity bonus must declare their income for the previous quarter every 3 months, in the My Account space or on the Caf-My Account mobile application.“.
This activity bonus will be revalued at the April 1, 2022 to reach €563.68 for a single person without children. A couple should touch up to €845.52 in 2022vs €830.57 in 2021.
The allowance for disabled adults (AAH) is financial assistance that allows you to have a minimum of resources. This aid is granted subject to meeting the criteria of incapacity, age, residence and resources. It is granted by decision of the Commission for the Rights and Autonomy of Persons with Disabilities (CDAPH). Its amount supplements any other resources you may have. In 2022, the calculation for benefit recipients in couples will be completely reorganized with the creation of a flat-rate allowance. A reduction in the amount of €5,000 on the income of the non-beneficiary spouse of the AAH. Add to that 1,400 euros per dependent child within the meaning of family benefits. This new method of calculation should benefit couples in which the spouse of the disabled person has a modest salary. This standard allowance replaces the old proportional reduction of 20% previously applied.
And the AAH amount will also move at April 1, 2022. A revaluation of €903.60 at €919.86 is expected for this year compared to 2021.
