“Fuck it, now I’m driving”

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

So Much Better 2022 was recently hosted by none other than Anne-Lie Rydé66, who debuted in the late 70s with the pop group EXTRA.

Anne-Lie Rydé was unsure about So much better

Since then, she has participated in Melodifestivalen, guested on Idol and released a solo album.

However, her participation in So much better was not entirely obvious:

– It wasn’t immediate and hurrah, but I had a few days to think it through. I’ve never been asked the question before and was a bit taken aback. But they always have a few older ones. After all the participation in Melodifestivalen, I don’t watch entertainment programs anymore, so I haven’t really seen So much better. But I knew it would be tough because I talked to people I know who have been there and everyone said it’s brutal, she says in an interview with Femina.

Even before she accepted, she had decided which songs she would interpret, according to Anne-Lie Rydé, there were no difficult choices.

– I did that before I accepted. When I found out who I was going to be with, I checked the catalogs on Spotify to listen through the material and see if there is anything I can do. I quickly found favorites. Then there was an argument about the very good songs, but I am very satisfied with the songs I got.

Anne-Lie Rydé on the after-party in So much better

Anne-Lie Rydé was on site during filming for a total of four days. And something she brings with her a little extra is that she hasn’t lost her enthusiasm when it comes to partying:

– I was there for four whole days. I remember the after-party when we got to party a little when everything was done on the last night, I’m obviously still a party person. It was liberating, you felt that now it’s over, now we can party and be happy. Then I caught a cold the week before the recording, so it wasn’t the best timing, but I felt fuck it, now I’m driving. You just have to fight a little more when you’re sick, she says Female.
