(Finance) – Salvatore IannicelliChief Security Officer of FS Groupwas nominated President of Colpofer (Collaboration des services de police railwayaire et de sécurité), an association that group the organizations of security of the main railway companies Europeans and includes 28 members from 22 different nations.
Founded in 1980, since 1997 it has become UIC Special Group (Union International Chemin de Fer), a global body that brings together all operators in the railway sector and which in Europe has the CEO of FS Stefano Donnarumma as President.

Colpofer mission is to develop and standardize security procedures to combat illegal behavior in the railway sector and improve the safety standards of infrastructure and transport, promoting synergies between the railway police forces and the security organizations of the railway companies.
The nomination of Salvatore Iannicelli was voted unanimously during the meeting 78th Colpofer General Assembly held yesterday in Brussels. The assembly took place as part of the larger 1st Symposium organized by Colpofer and Railpol, the European association of railway police.
