(Finance) – One cooperation science and technology to face the challenges of mobility and transport. This is the aim of the agreement signed today by Luigi Ferraris, managing director of Italian State Railways Groupand Antonella Polimeni, rector of the University Sapienza of Rome. The agreement aims to develop processes and technologies, analyze the future scenarios of the intermodal transport system – also in light of the objectives set by the NRP – paying particular attention to economic, environmental and social impacts. The agreement between FS and the Capitoline University indicates the main ones areas within which the collaboration will take place: transport, mobility, energy, water and waste management, real estate assets and security. To share theexperience of the largest Italian industrial company and the technical-scientific background of one of the best 200 universities in the world generates mutual benefits, for example through the transfer of know-how and joint research and innovation projects.
Among the various activities contemplated in the agreement SquareFS will be able to propose acceleration and incubation paths to create innovative solutions dedicated to mobility and ai transport integrated, offering advisory and mentorship support in the context of call4ideas and challenges. Sapienza will be able to structure doctorates and organize workshops on issues related to the activity of FS.
