(Finance) – The new one was inaugurated today Infopoint of the Italian Railway Network (FS Italiane Group) dedicated to investments and construction sites affecting the Brescia knot. The Mayor of Brescia was present at the inauguration Emilio Del Bonothe Councilor of the Province of Brescia Diletta Scaglia, the Director of RFI Giuseppe Taini and the Government Commissioner and Deputy General Manager Network Infrastructures of RFI Vincenzo Macello.
Created by RFI with the support of Italferr and CREW, a company belonging to the Infrastructure Hub of the FS Italiane Group, the Infopoint (located on track 1 of Brescia station and near the entrance to the city subway stop) represents an innovative information center to share with stakeholders and citizens, updates on the progress of the works, the benefits for the mobility of the Lombard and national network and the value in terms of sustainable transformation of the territory.
The Brescia area – reads the note – “it is affected by numerous interventions that will improve regional and national mobility, providing the possibility to access increasingly frequent and fast connections and redeveloping the territories crossed. Among others, in the Infopoint you will find information on the new HS / HC Brescia Est-Verona line, under construction, on the quadrupling of the east exit of Brescia, in the final design phase, and on the doubling Brescia-San Zeno-Ghedi , for which the technical-economic feasibility design is underway. Strategic works, some of which also financed with PNRR funds, for a total investment by RFI of over 3.7 billion euros “.

Together” is the message that returns to the citizens the commitment of the FS Group in promoting a new model of sustainable infrastructure development, in which the sharing and involvement of those who live the territory on a daily basis acquires a renewed centrality. The enhancement of shared projects therefore allows to generate not only new scenarios of sustainable mobility, but also new and concrete opportunities for growth for the community.
