FS Group committed to tracing the path of sustainable mobility

(Finance) – The FS Group confirms a strong commitment in the fight against climate change and has planned well in the Business Plan 190 billion in investmentsto trace a green path for the country over the next ten years, in the context of physical and digital infrastructuresof the mobility and of renewables.

This is what emerged today in Rome, atTechnical Auditorium, during the panel “PNRR sustainable infrastructures and the fight against climate change”, organized as part of the Forum PA 2022. To the debate, opened by the Minister of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility Enrico Giovannini – reads on FS News, the information portal of the FS Italiane Group – took part Massimo BrunoChief Corporate Affairs Officer of FS.

Among the objectives of the FS Group is the realization of sustainable, accessible and integrated road and rail infrastructures and the development of the rail freight transport, to reduce road transport and related CO2 emissions. Focus also on the energy transitionthrough the self-production of energy from renewable sources, and on digital transition.

A contribution to sustainable transport comes from the conspicuous funds of the PNRR and the Complementary Fundas part of the Next Generation EU program, which it recognized to RFI the appropriations of 25 billion eurosof which more than 3 have already been invested, to reduce the infrastructure gap and services between northern and southern Italy, positively impacting the green transformation of the country’s rail and road networks.
