Not at sports fields or cafés, but at places such as the A27, the Amsterdamsestraatweg in Utrecht and traffic arteries in Woerden and Houten. Because while most people are on holiday, there are many road works in many places in the summer. Annoying for road users who have to take a detour, but: the alternative is worse. “The holiday periods are the quietest periods in which as many works as possible are planned.”
