A frost advisory has been issued for Norfolk and neighboring counties.
Environment Canada issued the advisory Thursday morning, saying there is a potential for ‘patchy frost’ as temperatures drop close to the freezing mark on Friday.
The forecast calls for a low of 2-degrees Celsius in Norfolk early Friday.
Other counties under the advisory include Haldimand, Brant and Oxford.
“Frost may damage frost-sensitive fruit trees and vegetable plants,” said the national weather agency.
People are urged to take preventative measures such as covering up plants.
