In its presentation, Ubisoft announced the release date of Avatar: The Way of the Water as December 7, 2023.
While we were supposed to play this new Avatar game before the release of Avatar: The Way of the Water, Ubisoft delayed the game to develop it a little more. Ubisoft states that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will show the world of Na’vi in a way we have never seen before, taking place in a new region of the planet that the films have not yet explored.
The Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora story is told as a standalone game set in a brand new region of Pandora, just after the events of Avatar: The Way of Water. As a Na’vi, we will be alone with a first-person action-adventure game in the production, which will bring together the attractive world of Pandora with all its beauty and danger in an immersive, open world experience.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC platforms. There will be no PS4 or Xbox One version of the game.
