From what age to see the Toy Story spin off

BUZZ LIGHTNING MOVIE. The animated film Buzz Lightyear was released in cinemas this Wednesday, June 22, 2022. But is the film accessible to children of all ages?

[Mis à jour le 22 juin 2022 à 11h52] After having shone in four Toy Story films, Buzz Lightyear finally has the right to his solo film. The latest production from the studios Pixar was released in theaters this Wednesday, June 22, 2022. The public can discover the Space Ranger who inspired the toy owned by Andy in the original saga, and who made the young man want to have his own Buzz. The feature film offers a real epic in space with epic battles and a robot cat.

But is Buzz Lightyear suitable for children of all ages? In France, the film is certified for all audiences, meaning that everyone can see the feature film. Allociné announces, however, that the latest Pixar is to be seen from 6 years old. In the United States, children must be accompanied by an adult because of the action scenes. The feature film remains accessible and understandable for the greatest number, particularly from 6 years old.

François Civil was chosen to dub Buzz l’Eclair in French. French voices featured in the film include actress Lyna Khoudri as Izzy Hawthorne, Tomer Sisley as Mo and Chantal Ladesou for Darby Steel. The cat-robot Sox is, meanwhile, doubled by Michaël Gregorio.

In the American version, Chris Evans takes over the role of Buzz Lightyear as a voice actor where the character was previously played by Tim Allen in the Toy Story saga. Other cast members in the original version include Keke Palmer, Peter Sohn, Taika Waititi, Dale Soules, James Brolin and Uzo Aduba. On the production side, Angus MacLane, co-director of Finding Dory, is directing this Animation Film.

Marvel movies started the trend of post-credits scenes several years ago. For its part, Pixar had fun, especially in Toy Story, offered fake bloopers during the end credits of its films. What about Buzz Lightyear? The latest film from the studios embraced the MCU trend. These are not one, but three post-credits scenes that we can discover at the end of the animated film. However, these are not unmissable, even if the last one suggests, perhaps, that Buzz Lightyear will one day return to the big screen. In an interview, director Angus MacLane did not confirm or deny this possibility, however declaring himself “open to the idea” of returning for a sequel.
