One of the highlights was the unveiling of the Dom Tower. The renovation took no less than five years, it required ten thousand new blocks of natural stone and the highest scaffolding in the Netherlands was assembled for it, but the result is impressive. The last parts of the construction were removed at the end of August and the tower was festively opened by King Máxima in November.
