(Tiper Stock Exchange) – From next Monday July 24th i will fire postal service charges offered by the Post Office, authorized by Agcom with a resolution dated June 27th. Tariff increases – explains the Authority – which will allow Poste Italiane to recover the inflation recorded in the second half of 2022 and in the first half of 2023 and thus realign the tariffs of universal services to the increased cost of production.
The new tariff provides for an increase in the Postal mail (within 20 g of weight) from 1.20 to 1.25 euros and mail priority (up to 100 grams) from 2.80 at 2.90 euros. The cost of registered letters also increased, going from 5.60 to 5.80 euros.
They will be more expensive too parcel shipmentswith a retouch upwards of 50 cents to send an ordinary package (from 0 to 3 kg), for a cost that goes from 9.40 to 9.90 euros. Shipments abroad are also on the rise, with a 1 kg package for Zone 1 costing 24.80 euros (from 24.00 euros).
It also increases the cost of fine notification service: the amount of notifications up to 20 grams accepted in post offices will rise from 10.85 to 11.45 euroswhile the cost of items accepted in business centers will increase from 10.45 to 11.05 euros.
