The plans for a new theater to be built are now estimated at between 42 and 68 million euros, including an underground parking garage. Several parties have their doubts about the latter. Except for the VVD: they think the proposal that is now in line with everything the party wants. According to them, the costs are not too bad: the annual budget would only be one percent of the municipal taxes. Moreover, the party says, an all-round theater in Veenendaal yields a lot of economic gain.
