(Tiper Stock Exchange) – A weekend of work with industrialists, managers and government and opposition officials that on the shores of Lake Como will trace possible future scenarios: on September 1st the curtain will rise on the 49th edition of the annual Forum The European House Ambrosettion the agenda at Villa d’Este in Cernobbio until Sunday.
Mission and ambition of the Forum – reads the note – “are to offer the international and Italian ruling class an opportunity for serious and qualified study – supported by analyzes and research – on geopolitical, economic, technological and social scenarios and their implications for companies and countries”.
Saturday there is expectation for the Prime Minister GGeorgia Meloni (but his participation is still awaiting confirmation), while on Sunday the closure is entrusted as per tradition to the Minister of the Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti. Friday atd open the works, after the opening speech by Valerio De Molli, managing partner and CEO of The European House – Ambrosetti, will be a video message from Volodymyr Zelensky which, like last year, will kick off the session dedicated to the global scenario. During the first day, Khalid Al Falih, Saudi Arabia’s investment minister, and Nancy Pelosi, emeritus speaker of the US House who will lead a patrol of American parliamentarians, will also be seen at Villa d’Este.
Saturday focus on Europe, with an opening message from the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella. Speakers will be Josep Borrell, High Representative of the EU, and Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. In another panel Paul Gentiloni, EU Commissioner for the Economy, will meet with Samantha Cristoforetti, ESA astronaut, and with the CEO of Sanofi, Paul Hudson. In the afternoon, Prime Minister Meloni’s speech, still not confirmed. Closing of the weekend dedicated to Italy, with the protagonists of politics. Space for the majority with most of the ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, Adolfo Urso, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati and Marina Calderone. Before Giorgetti’s final speech, expected around lunchtime, there will also be a focus on Pnrr with Valerio De Molli and Raffaele Fitto
