(Telestock) – Italo launches a series of volunteer initiatives for the summer: thanks to the funding of the Conciliamo Call of the Department for Family Policies and the collaboration with important organizations such as Banco Alimentare, Isola della Sostenibilità,
Empethy, Salva Mamme and the Italian Red Cross, it was possible to organize a series of initiatives to directly involve the entire company team during working days. Moments dedicated to volunteering in different areasi: collection of food, toys and clothing to donate to charities, support in kennel and blood donation.
Today, at the headquarters in Rome, Italo launches the day dedicated to blood donation, organized in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross. The activity aims not only to raise awareness on the importance of donation, but also to collect a significant number of subscriptions to support local health facilities.
A path, that of volunteering, in which Italo firmly believes: started in November ’23 with Pet Day and, given the great success among employees, strengthened in view of the summer. In June, in collaboration with Empethy and Cave Canem Foundationthe Italo team went to the Valle Grande dog shelter in Rome, to serve the many puppies that find refuge there. A day that helped raise awareness on the issue of stray animals and responsible adoption.
The focus then shifted in July to collecting basic necessities for vulnerable families. Employees participated in the “Food Drive,” bringing their own food and preparing packages to donate to the Association. Food Bank, which will distribute them to affiliated structures that help poor and needy people in Italy.
