(Finance) – The Mount Paschi has allocated a ceiling of 200 million euros for an initial intervention to support families and businesses resident or based in Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia who suffered serious damage due to exceptional atmospheric events that have occurred in the last few days. Banca MPS has also provided for the possibility of suspending for 12 months the payments of mortgage installments for individuals and companies who have suffered damage and who will request it.
The extraordinary measures include the granting of loans to businesses, traders and artisans, to restore production activities as quickly as possible, as well as to families whose homes have been damaged by the strong winds and insistent rains. Dedicated interventions are planned for all agricultural supply chains. The loans will benefit from particularly favorable conditions and will follow a priority preliminary investigation process to speed up the granting times. All the Bank’s branches and business centers are available to accept requests, provide assistance and any further information.
