Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nethanjahu Said in a television interview on Thursday that “Palestinian state could be established in Saudi Arabia because there is land.” He repeated the idea that was also feasible in an interview with Fox News in the United States.
Some of the Israeli media considered the utterance as a joke. The reception has not been delighted in the Arab States in the area.
Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit Said the idea describes “complete alienation from real and to be an imagination or illusion”.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the speeches to “take attention to continuous crimes against Palestinians in Gaza occupied by Israel”.
For example, Egypt, Qatar and the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs have brought speeches about forced transfer.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s estimates are believed to cool the relationships that have slowly warmed up to Israel and Saudi Arabia.
