The course of the demonstration in Paris

This Thursday, the Parisian demonstration will leave from Place de la Bastille around 2 p.m. to head for Place d’Italie, where the demonstrators will be dispersed. An order of processions has been completed, in this order for the union delegations on site: UNSA, Youth, CFE-CGC, CFDT, CFTC, Solidaires, FO, CGT, FSU.

The city of Tarn will become the capital of the protest with the presence of union leaders on February 16. The eight leaders of the majority unions will be present, including Philippe Martinez of the CGT, Laurent Berger of the CFDT and Frédéric Souillot of FO. They chose this city “to support the strong anchoring of this movement everywhere on the territory, in the small towns as in the biggest ones” specified a communicated.

How many demonstrators are expected by the authorities?
