“I actually went on Tinder with no expectations,” says Ella. In the spring of 2016, the two started swiping and not much later they ran into each other on the app. A few chat messages later, their relationship started. “What was quite unique is that we both didn’t feel like playing games. Many people think too much about how many days to wait before replying to a message or how to call someone back after a date. We didn’t have that at all, that was a relief. It was the first thing where it became clear that we were really on the same page. It was very familiar and it went very quickly, such as moving in together and opening a shop,” says Timo. Although the couple found each other on a dating app, they still think they are meant for each other. “It would have worked without Tinder,” Ella says with a laugh.
