Negotiations are already underway and the SHL team has presented a lucrative contract proposal for the 32-year-old, according to information. The star back has belonged to the Swiss Geneve-Servette for the last six seasons and delivered 194 points in 235 games in the NL.

Dream signing

But now he wants to move back home to Sweden and most things point to him returning to Frölunda again. Both parties have come a long way in the negotiations and a transfer to next season is getting closer.
“We don’t hide our interest,” writes Frölunda’s sporting director Fredrik Sjöström in a text message to the evening newspaper.

Henrik Tömmernes would become one of the SHL’s really big signings and comes with extensive experience from national team play with Tre Kronor in both the Olympics and World Cup, where he was also team captain. He has also already won SM gold and two CHL titles with Frölunda.

The Swedish star back left Frölunda in 2017 after scoring 121 points in 282 games in the SHL. Now he can return and reinforce an already strong backup lineup with Christian Folin and Andreas Borgman until next season.
