In the written statement made by the organization, it was noted that as a result of the examination of the cases reported to the center from April 5 to May 26, 650 cases from 33 countries were confirmed in the current situation.

HIGH POSSIBILITY TO CAUSE ADENOVIRUS

It was emphasized that although the assumption that adenovirus could cause mysterious hepatitis is strong, the etiology of the virus has not yet been determined. It was reported that 181 of the cases had adenovirus and 188 had Kovid-19.

Against the spread of the virus, children were advised to apply simple hygiene rules frequently, to stay away from crowded places, to cover the mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, and to drink clean water.

The virus, whose cause is unknown, has symptoms such as jaundice, diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain, is seen in children aged 1 month to 16 years.
