Friendly Fire 9 was a charity event hosted by well-known streamers over the weekend. Now you have shown how much money you have collected. They broke the million mark, but they couldn’t beat it in the last few years.
What is friendly fire anyway? Friendly Fire is a charity campaign: Once a year, well-known Twitch streamers and YouTubers come together and collect money for a good cause.
This time the stream ran on Gronkh’s Twitch channel on December 2nd, 2023 from 3 p.m. It has now been revealed how much money was collected.
The million mark is broken, but not in recent years
Who took part in everything? The cast in 2023 continues to consist of Erik “Gronkh” Range, the “PietSmiet” team, Tatjana “Pandorya” Werth, Pascal “MrMoreGame” Rothkegel, Florian “Der Heider” Heider, Artur “fisHC0p” Niemczuk and Max “PhunkRoyal” Ensikat.
How much money was donated? The organizers posted the final amount of money on Twitter. A total of 1,021,417 euros were collected, which meant that the million mark was barely exceeded. However, this has not been possible in recent years:
But these are the pure proceeds from the Twitch stream. In recent years, these donations have been raised through the sale of various merchandise items.
Which institutions does the money go to? Friendly Fire 9 once again supports a variety of different charities, which we have listed for you here. The money is collected in cooperation with the donation platform betterplace.org.
What’s next? The organizers have already announced that there will be a “Friendly Fire” stream again next year. Friendly Fire 10 takes place on December 7, 2024. However, no further information has been disclosed yet.
