Frida Karlsson had everyone in awe already at the first skiing practice.
When she fell on her face and started bleeding profusely in the track.
Now the Swedish skiing star offers a neat pass to teammate Maja Dahlqvist after the accident.
It was a couple of weeks ago that all Swedes were shocked by the images of a bloody Frida Karlsson. Once again, the Swedish ski star had bad luck on his side during the very first ski training of the pre-season.
Karlsson’s accident
On Instagram, she posted several pictures of her own face where her nose and mouth were covered in blood, see below.
“Then we start a new training year,” wrote the 23-year-old without saying what actually happened on the ski track.

Only now does she tell us what really happened.
– It wasn’t as dramatic as it looked. I put the pole between my legs in the middle of an interval and then I did a “faceplant” when I didn’t have time to receive myself, says Karlsson to Sportbladet.

Frida’s fit
But despite the nasty accident, Frida Karlsson drove on and completed the rest of the training session, see the pictures below.
– I got a nosebleed and continued the intervals. There was just gushing blood and someone came and asked “is there a bitch running after the track?”. But it was me, it was my nose… It was Moa (Ilar, teammate) who said “don’t wipe it off” when I had stopped. “I have to take a picture!”, Frida tells the evening newspaper.

Karlsson thinks the bloody pictures were quite funny and she also sends a clear pass to her teammate Maja Dahlqvist. When she had called Frida a “drama queen” after the collapse in the Tour de Ski, two words that were also often used in the Norwegian media to describe Karlsson.
– It also plays on the fact that you are a drama queen, she says in a neat grin to Maja Dahlqvist.
