After several years together, things ended between Frida Karlsson and William Poromaa.
Now the former gives a new message of love.
– I am completely flexible, says Karlsson to Sportbladet.
Both Frida Karlsson and William Poromaa stood for strong WC in Planica last spring. Poromaa took the first Swedish WC medal on the men’s side in several years with his bronze in the five mile. After winning the Tour de Ski, Karlsson continued on the same track and left Planica with four medals.
The reveal after the WC
Shortly after the WC was over, the news came that one of sports Sweden’s hottest couples had broken up. Exactly when it ended between Karlsson and Poromaa is unclear, but they wanted to wait with the news until after the championship to be able to focus on skiing.

The breakup came after several years together, where they also lived together for a period. The pair say they are still good friends, and they continue to see each other in the context of skiing, of course, with national team camps, training and competitions.
Karlsson’s love message
Poromaa recently revealed that things are calm for him on the love front at the moment. Now Frida also comes with a new love message.
– I feel good about myself. It’s nice to just have full focus on myself for a while, she tells Sportbladet.

The 24-year-old appreciates his newfound freedom as a single.
– I think I have found greater peace in what I do. I wasn’t “uneasy” before, but it feels good. I am completely flexible and as a person I am quite spontaneous. I can kind of jump on things and decide a lot myself.
