Frida Karlsson had an absolutely brilliant ski season this year.
Now she sums up the success with four WC medals and the Tour de Ski win in honest words.
At the same time as she wants to thank the Swedish people for all the wonderful support.
The ski season has long been over and it is soon time to start preparing for a new one. But the Swedish ski star Frida Karlsson has been so busy during her vacation that she hasn’t had time to summarize the last successful season yet.
Karlsson’s success
Now she opens up on social media to talk about winter, which has been one of her best so far in her career. As it has been a season where she really established herself as an absolutely world-class cross-country skier.

There were several victories at the World Cup, an impressive overall victory at the Tour de Ski and four WC medals during the Ski WC for the 23-year-old, who was also affected by illnesses and collapses during the year. Now she gives her honest view of the ski season that was – and what was the very best, as well as a beautiful greeting to the Swedish people.
“Cool season with the Tour de ski as the finishing touch. Proud to dare to fully believe in my own path and grateful to Per Nilsson and Marcus Bystedt who make it the most fun! Thanks also to all of you who support in one way or another. Gold worth! The training year has started, and this year back with the national team again. Towards the first camp of the year. Frida’s honest words
Frida Karlsson is one of our most popular cross-country skiers right now and can sum up one of the best seasons of her career. With the Tour de Ski victory, she became only the second Swede of all time to win the mini-tour after Charlotte Kalla did it in 2008.

The fact that she also won a medal in all four races she competed in during the WC also says a lot about her forehead. The 23-year-old has now collected a total of 10 WC medals during his short career so far.
