The time has come for the Norwegian sprint star Kristine Stavå’s Ski City to make a comeback again after the hasty stomach surgery. She missed the premiere weekend in Ruka, Finland, but when the World Cup turns to her home country of Norway and competitions in Lillehammer, Kristine is on the starting line.

Both broke through as teenagers and two super talents, but the Norwegian did not want to get to know the Swede at all.
– I definitely think I made an enemy there. We don’t even greet each other, Kristine Stavås Skistad said then and described Frida as “ice cold”.
– In any case, I don’t say “hello” to her either. But don’t worry, I have no interest in becoming best friends with her.

A young Frida Karlsson was shocked by the Norwegian’s unexpected words and her answer in 2019 says a lot about how Skistad is as a person even today, five years later.
– Honestly, it’s not something I reacted to or noticed. I don’t know her very well, but if I were to meet her somewhere I would definitely say hello, she said in an old interview with Aftonbladet.
– That’s not right (that we don’t greet each other). The last time I met her, I congratulated her on winning relay gold at the JVM.
Karlsson was already convinced that Kristine said that to provoke her.
– She might want to create a rival, but that’s nothing I stand for, said the 19-year-old Frida.
