Only 24 years old has Frida Karlsson has established himself as one of Sweden’s and the world’s top cross-country skiers right now. The last season was absolutely brilliant for the Swede with the huge winner’s skull.
Karlsson’s success
During the World Ski Championships in Planica, she won medals in all four races she competed in and left the championship with two silvers and two bronzes. But the biggest success still came in the Tour de Ski where Karlsson showed an enormous will to take home the overall victory as the first Swede since Charlotte Kalla 2008.

Now a championship-free season awaits and then the big goal will be to take home the overall World Cup and to defend the Tour de Ski champion title. The pre-season is in full swing so that the Swedish ski star can arrive as well prepared as possible for the new season.

Frida surprises
Frida Karlsson is currently at a training camp in Livigno, Italy, and is showing off a completely different talent than skiing. At a beautiful lake, she picks up a stone and amazes the Swedes with her unsuspected skills in throwing a sandwich, see the video below.
