Kristine Stavås Skistad and her sprint partner Lotta Udnes Weng28, were extremely sad and disappointed after Wednesday’s failure in the tracks.
– It was too bad. We underperform and have a bad day both. When both are bad, the result becomes even worse. Simply sad, Udnes Weng tells TV2.
– It was heavy and dark. It is boring and hard when it is such a lovely audience. They earned more, so just apologize, says Stavås Skistad to the TV channel.

The World Cup has not gone as the Norwegian has wanted. After Thursday’s sprint, she was completely devastated.
“When childhood dream is crushed,” she wrote on Instagram.
Frida Karlsson’s opinion of Kristine
Since Stavås Skistad is a big profile for the sport, many have opinions about her and her achievements. The fact that she is a mixture of a withdrawn person who likes to stay isolated and a cocky rushpick who likes to spit her opponents makes people react to whatever she does and say.

One who tells about her view of Kristine Stavås Skistad is the Swedish longitudinal star Frida Karlsson25. She is also a big profile and many have strong opinions even about her – but now she has to comment on the Norwegian instead.
– I don’t know Kristine so well indeed. But she has wanted to be a bit hidden all the time since she came up, so she seems to want peace and quiet in what she does and you have to respect it, Frida tells the Sports Bible.
Kristine and Frida’s alleged hatred
Karlsson has so far taken a World Cup bronze in 10 km classic in Trondheim. It remains to be seen if there will be more medals for her. However, she will not meet Stavås Skistad anything because the Norwegian only goes to the sprint distances.
Already in 2019, Kristine went out in the media and said that she and Frida were enemies and that they did not greet each other – something that Karlsson had to deny. However, rumors have lived on that the two would hate each other.
– No, I don’t see anything unique to her like that. If you put up in a competition you want to win and then you want to win against everyone. We are quite different profiles really. I may have my main strength in long races and she is a very distinct sprinter, so where super prestige I do not think it is between us, says Frida.
