Frida Karlsson reveals great worries before the World Cup – now admits what everyone has missed: “It’s hell”

Another World Cup weekend awaits the Swedish national skiing team.
After tough competition, our blue-yellow heroes have traveled to Finland.
But now Frida Karlsson reveals her concerns about the World Cup competitions.

The Swedish national ski team has had a shorter rest period after intense weeks of World Cup races in North America, with competitions in both Canmore and Minneapolis. Where Jonna Sundling made a big hit but also Lynn Svahn and Frida Karlsson has entered the battle for the overall World Cup standings.

Karlsson hunts

Right now, the American is still leading Jessie Diggins, but behind there is Svahn who is just over 150 points behind and another 200 points chasing Karlsson in third place. It will therefore be a rousing end to the World Cup with only three competition weekends remaining.

Frida Karlsson is heading for a really good skiing season and has so far won two individual races, taken a total of six individual podium places and two more relay victories at the World Cup. Now, together with her teammate Linn Svahn, she is chasing the dream of becoming the first female skier in Sweden to win the overall World Cup.

Frida admits

But now Frida reveals her great concern for this weekend’s competitions that await in Finnish Lahtis. On social media, she opens up about the disease that everyone has missed, see the picture below.
“A jet lag from hell and an express cold later, I take a ‘prepare’ and keep my fingers crossed that I slept in shape. Against Lahti!”, writes Karlsson on Instagram.
