Now the Swedish skiing star chooses to skip the SM week.
– I will go home, she writes in disappointment to SVT.

The ski season ends with SM week in Boden and so far has Jonna Sundling made a big success with three straight SM golds. It has been significantly tougher for the national team colleague Frida Karlsson.

Frida drops out

She has really had to fight in the tracks and in Friday’s 10 km race, Frida finished seventh, almost two minutes behind Sundling. After that, Karlsson was completely exhausted and things haven’t gotten any better since then.

“I’m going home now,” she writes in a text message to SVT.

Karlsson finished

Frida Karlsson can thus summarize the entire ski season and it has been a fine one for the Swede. She has won three individual races at the World Cup and two relay victories, where the five-mile in Holmenkollen obviously stands out the most.
