Frida Karlsson has been missing at the World Cup lately.
Now the Swedish skiing star is breaking his silence for the first time.
And opens up about when she can be back on track again.

The current ski season has so far been a huge success for young people Frida Karlsson. She has really stepped up to a whole new level to deliver podiums and wins on a continuous basis.

Karlsson’s success

The very biggest victory came last winter when the Swede won the entire Tour de Ski for the first time in her career. A huge message from Karlsson, who has had several seasons ruined by injuries and health problems in the past.

The 23-year-old also entered the Ski World Cup as one of the big favorites and left Planica with a medal in every single race she competed in. However, it was not a desirable gold medal for Frida, but double silver and double bronze she should be extremely proud of .

However, the time after the World Ski Championships has been difficult for the Swedish skiing star, who has had to contend with painful illnesses. First, Karlsson was stopped from riding the historic five-mile in Holmenkollen and then she also had to throw in the towel in Tuesday’s sprint competition in Drammen.

Now she breaks the silence and opens up for the first time about the pains of the last week’s illness.
“Curing myself to be on site in Falun for the weekend. I think I’ve tried most things right now. Hopefully we’ll see each other in Falun!”, writes Frida in a post on Instagram.

Karlsson then receives great support from the Swedish people on social media.
“Otherwise we save on that opportunity!”, writes the teammate Ebba Andersson in a comment.
