Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson are already thrown into the hot air.
When both ski stars settle in a new blue-yellow super duel.
Last ski season was very different too Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson. The efforts of two of Sweden’s leading cross-country skiers differ quite a lot.
Karlsson’s success
Frida was the one who impressed the most and delivered the strongest in the tracks. She convinced throughout the season but failed to win either the Tour de Ski or the overall World Cup.

While Ebba had a really problematic season that was hugely affected by a fenced covid disease that ruined both the Tour de Ski and the World Cup. Nevertheless, it was Andersson who got to cheer the most this past winter when she managed to take home the Jerring prize at the Sports Gala, thanks to a great deal of support from the Swedish people.
“Feels huge”
Now both have had to recharge their batteries during the spring and it is time to start growing up. A very interesting season awaits, where the ski WC in Trondheim 2025 is of course the big highlight.

The Swedish star duo now kick-starts their pre-season training with a blue-yellow super duel right away. Both Andersson and Karlsson are registered for the premiere race of the Svenska Spel Summer Tour in Ulricehamn on Saturday.
– The interest in skiing is enormous in our municipalities, so it feels really good that we can offer top competitions on roller skis, says Hanna Perssonnews director at Tidningen Ångermanland, in a statement.
– The fact that we will also see both Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson in the starting field feels huge.

Additional national team Swedes who are registered for the race on roller skis are Calle Halfvarsson, William Poromaa, Alvar Myhlback and Maja Dahlqvist. So count on it to be world-class skiing.
